I've thought a bit about this; how much we think about that we don't actually say... I mean, in general, people nowadays have gotten really bad at giving compliments, I think. How many times a day don't you think "Oh, nice haircut!" or "That shirt really suits him," without saying it outloud. This person that you thought this about might have tried really hard to look or act nice, but then no one tells him or her about it, and he/she might not try again. It can make someone's day if another person gives them a compliment! I've noticed this, and that's why I've decided to not be stingy with compliments anymore - too many people are. It doesn't
